First was the middle school dance.
Then the prom. Then a shared first dance as everyone watches.
Freshman year of college our sister broke up with a guy by sending him the lyrics to Garth Brooks "the dance" — prefacing "her" poem with, "I wrote this poem for you."

We have our grandmother's record collection.
Dad taught us the Beatles.
We taped songs off the radio — telling our brothers to shut up.
Made mix tapes. Burned CDs. Downloaded music.
Then the iPod.
Music and life seem to play a signifcant roll. And so this began.
